The Tempe Chamber of Commerce and its Women in Business Council are pleased to present the four-part speaker series “Passport to Success: The Journey.”

During this inspirational and educational series, attendees will enjoy an intimate sit-down with powerful women as they share their secrets of leadership and success.

Each Friday morning event starts with casual networking over breakfast followed by a presentation by the day’s featured speaker.

Feb. 4 - Suzan Miller-Hoover, DNP, RN, CCNS, CCRN: Suzan Miller-Hoover has been in nursing for 30-plus years, working her way from a nurse’s aide to a doctorate of nursing practice, a clinical degree with a specialization in pediatric intensive care patients. In her spare time, she helped to develop the first pediatric cardiac heart center in Africa by training the nurses and technicians who would be caring for an underserved population.

Feb. 11 - Betty Uribe, Executive Vice President, Comerica Bank Inc.: Betty Uribe is a 23-year banking veteran and is currently executive vice president for California and Arizona Retail Banking, the highest ranking Latina at Comerica Bank. During her career in financial services, she has held senior level positions in retail and business banking and strategic planning. She is also the president for the Hispanic Outreach Taskforce in Los Angeles and is a volunteer counselor in crisis intervention.

The series takes place at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, 4750 E. Cotton Center Blvd., in Phoenix on Jan. 21 and 28 and Feb. 4 and 11.

Registration, breakfast and networking take place between 8 and 8:30 a.m. with the presentation and program running from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.
